Hi, I’m Mer, head instructor & founder of The Playground.
I know how hard it can be to find a workout routine that works for you because not too long ago, I was exactly where you are: feeling frustrated by fitness.
I felt like the only workouts available were misinformed and unsupported by science. They often relied on negative messages around body image as the primary form of motivation. And they left me feeling more depleted than energized.
There just didn’t seem to be a place for me.
That’s when I got the idea to start The Playground: a universally accessible space that treats movement not as a punishment or chore, but as a joyful experience that can strengthen your body & mind.
